Arcadi Café

Arcadi Café, a typical brasserie restaurant in Brussels where regulars and tourists alike get together to share a Belgian dish, a cup of coffee, or a slice of sweet or savoury tart, the house specialty.

Arcadi Café, a typical Brussels restaurant

Arcadi Café is both simple and authentic. Open Tuesday to Sunday, this downtown Brussels brasserie is a great place to meet over a slice of quiche or vegetable tart. For the last 30 years, Arcadi Café has earned its success with its savoury tarts, the original recipes for which are passed down from Chef to Chef. The menu also offers plenty of brasserie cuisine and Belgian specialities : mussels, Flemish stew, meatballs in tomato sauce, Chicons au gratin…

Arcadi Café works closely with Belgian producers and serves Spa waters and lemonades, as well as a large selection of Duvel Moortgat Beers and Cristal draught lager.

In the afternoons, come here for legendary lemon meringue, fresh fruit or chocolate tart, with fresh mint tea or Costa Rican coffee. Enjoy excellent quality coffee from the Maison Corica, which roasts its coffee in Brussels – the freshest coffee in town!

On show nights at the Théâtre Royal des Galeries and the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, it’s best to book a table for a meal before or after the show.

Arcadi Café, an authentic Belgian brasserie experience

Arcadi Café is an institution in Brussels, a cosmopolitan place at the entrance of the Galeries Saint Hubert, where tourists and regulars rub shoulders in a unique atmosphere. The vintage decoration only adds to the authenticity: old postcards, metal boxes, banknotes from around the world, antique frames, round bistro tables…

This is without a doubt one of the best brasseries in Brussels, a friendly and authentic place, perfect to get together for coffee or a slice of tart, or to discover Belgian cuisine! Come here for a quick bite to eat or to spend hours solving the world’s problems in good company…
