Le Comptoir des Galeries restaurant: seasonal cuisine

Le Comptoir des Galeries offers seasonal cuisine centred around the produce. The Chef, Benjamin Lagarde – who has worked at the Chalet de la Forêt, the Brasserie des Bozar, and Bowery –, revisits the great classics of Belgian cuisine using primarily fresh produce from small local farmers. Come here to enjoy brasserie specialities, served with homemade bread…

Why not indulge in wine from the Comptoir des Galeries wine list? Discover a great contemporary selection, available by the bottle or by the glass.

Go on a culinary excursion, guided by quality service. Come and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of a contemporary brasserie in the heart of the King’s Gallery. And if you feel like it, go discover the Hôtel des Galeries, in keeping with the feel of the restaurant…

The bright atmosphere of the Comptoir des Galeries

The Comptoir des Galeries welcomes you in a stripped-back and bright setting. The Scandinavian-inspired minimalist décor embraces light tones punctuated with green touches, enhanced by the warmth of the wood.

The place once housed the Hart workshops, suppliers of the King’s House and creators of the medal of the Belgian Constitution. An astonishing medal press, a symbol of its time, sits in the middle of the restaurant hall.

The kitchen opens onto the dining room, so you can watch Chef Benjamin Lagarde and his team evolving over the course of a sitting. And when the sun is out, tables are lined up on the patio terrace… Be sure not to miss this!

Continental breakfast is served every day from 7am to 10:30am.
