With its delicious biscuits and other sweet treats, the Maison Dandoy in Brussels has always celebrated the simple pleasures…

Maison Dandoy: passion for speculoos and other biscuits

Dandoy biscuits, with speculoos at the forefront, are flavourful and full-bodied. What’s the secret? They are handmade and carefully cooked in the Brussels workshops, following a recipe that is over 150 years old…

Maison Dandoy biscuits are 100% natural, made by passionate artisans, using flour, butter, sugar and a pinch of salt. It’s that simple!

The Maison Dandoy in Brussels may have made speculoos its speciality, but it offers an infinite variety of other sweet treats. Sweet, crunchy, shortbread or crispy biscuits, the Dandoy biscuit factory has something for all sweet tooths! The Maison Dandoy also offers Greek-style bread, typical of Brussels – contrary to what the name suggests –, gingerbread, brioches and Cramiques. On the cake side, there are fruit cakes, frangipanes, Financiers and pavés de Bruxelles. Truffles with speculoos, fruit pastes and marzipan complete this assortment of treats!

Maison Dandoy: a tea-room in the centre of Brussels

For several generations, the small Dandoy biscuits and other treats have conquered the hearts of Brussels locals, both young and grown-up, from 7 to 77 years old… The shop offers a range of treats for every occasion!

The Maison Dandoy now has a shop in the prestigious King’s Gallery, an exceptional place where local artisanry has been celebrated since the 19th century. Coloured tapestries, gilding on the shop front, warm lighting… Dandoy biscuits have joined this space in keeping with the spirit and history of the place.

The biscuit factory of the King’s Gallery also has a tea room. A great spot not to miss at tea time or to finish a shopping trip! Enjoy a delicious Brussels waffle, beautiful homemade ice cream, homemade pastries or delicious biscuits served with tea, coffee or hot chocolate…
