After its first collection sold out in no time, luxury leather goods brand Britt Van Driessche is opening its first boutique. The Belgian designer will also be presenting a brand new 100% handmade collection in grained cowhide. These handbags go with every outfit.
From success story to stable player in luxury leather goods
By the end of 2022, Britt Van Driessche’s colourful handbags were selling like hotcakes. After the showroom in Knokke, the need for a permanent sales outlet quickly became apparent. Since 23 November, it’s a done deal! You can visit Britt Van Driessche’s first official boutique in the Galerie de la Reine. And you’ll be able to discover her brand new collection.
The range is enriched by two new models (Clara and Lucia) and a brand new colour (Dusk): a powerful, generous magenta pink. “It’s a colour that exudes dynamism and vital energy. Like the other colours in my handbags, it’s the ideal shade to reflect a person’s personality. It’s a hybrid tone that strikes a balance between warm and cool. Like a person’s character, it’s complex and nuanced,” explains Britt. Britt is inspired by the reflection of the sun in her designs. With the shade ‘Dusk’, she refers to the rich palette of colours that unfold just after sunset.
Belgian design x Italian craftsmanship
Designer Britt Van Driessche creates the prototype for each of her creations herself, paying meticulous attention to every detail. Then a specialised luxury Italian workshop begins to manufacture it. Each handbag is made entirely from grained cowhide. It meets the strictest quality standards and is 100% handmade. So you’ll be carrying the sun with you for years to come.
